Help for Diabetic Eyes

The diabetic retinopathy is a disease secondary to diabetes and causes unhealthy changes in the retinal vessels. At present, it is not yet curable. However, its course can be moderated or even stopped. Thus, comprehensive, preventative measures are of the greatest importance. Diabetics should go to the ophthalmologist at least once a year. Using a special method, the screening can be done touch-free and in most cases without dilation drops.

If desired, we can detect the diabetic changes to the retina using GDX and/or OCT and give the patient (or the treating house doctor) the results immediately.
